William Tham, MD
Dr. Tham is Board Certified in PM&R after attending Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He has an undergraduate degree in Psychology which adds to expertise in working within pain medicine. Dr. Tham founded PMPMA in 1994. He has participated as a member of the Alternative MEDICINE Program Advisory Council for the National Institute of Health, as well as other community initiatives.
Susan Zimmerman, MD
Dr. Zimmerman is Board Certified in PM&R after attending Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Prior to establishing private practice in 1992, she was medical director for inpatient rehab hospital and consulting Physiatrist for sub-acute rehab facility.
Thomas Lee, MD
Dr. Lee attended Columbia University for his BS in Chemical Engineering. He then received his Medical Degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Lee is Board Certified in PM&R and Fellowship Trained in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Pain Medicine. Dr. Lee has published in clinical journals as well as a national speaker and instructor.
Sophia Leonard Burns, PA-C
Ms. Leonard-Burns obtained her education from George Washington University. As a long-time resident of the Annapolis area, she joined PMPMA in 2001. Previously, she has worked in family practice, hospital emergency department, and drug rehabilitation. She serves as lead mid-level for this practice.
Michael T. Weeks, PA-C
Mike is a life-long resident of Anne Arundel county, originally from Crofton. He completed his undergraduate work at The University of Maryland College Park prior to attending the PA program at AACC and earning a Masters of Health Sciences at St. Francis University. Prior work experience includes a variety of i inpatient and outpatient management roles in general internal medicine, urgent care and orthopedics.
